LendingTree and LeadsCon: Where Connections Grow

Whether generating leads or strategic partnerships, connections don’t grow on trees. For this reason, LeadsCon sponsorship seems handcrafted for North-Carolina-based LendingTree.

LendingTree, launched in 1996, is a financial services company that empowers consumers and clients by pairing them with lending partners that best fit their needs. Inversely, this process also helps partners find the right consumers. Consumers can complete a single online loan request and receive real offers from hundreds of lenders that provide corresponding financial products. The marketplace covers services ranging from home loans (including mortgages, refinancing and home equity products), auto loans, personal loans, small business loans, student loans, credit cards, credit repair services and more.

LeadsCon brings together the best and brightest in the customer acquisition industry,” according to LendingTree Founder & CEO Doug Lebda. “We’re able to meet face-to-face with existing and potential clients to better understand how we can help grow their business while strengthening relationships and identifying new opportunities for growth.”

The LendingTree team has attended the fast-based conference for almost a decade and their participation borders on tradition. When regular in-person interactions aren’t always feasible, LeadsCon brings together the pertinent players across several industries in the customer acquisition space, which enables the LendingTree team to forge and strengthen partnerships.

Lebda notes that sponsoring the conference imparts the opportunity to showcase product offerings and gain great brand exposure. But for LendingTree, their time at LeadsCon is less about the exhibition portion and more focused on meeting clients on-site. “The expo hall is a great option for companies that are looking for new clients, want to draw attention to their brand and want to form new connections.”

LeadsCon brings together major players in the industry with a common goal of making connections and gaining insights to drive business forward. One of the ways LendingTree is supporting this goal is through their Innovation Challenge. The challenge will recognize the most innovative fintech solutions across the consumer lead generation, call center and customer experience sectors. Companies interested in participating on stage at LeadsCon Las Vegas can apply for consideration here before January 26th.

Startups and established businesses from around the world are applying, and five finalists will have five minutes each to present their business plan through their choice of live demo, video and other visuals. Presentations will be followed by a ‘Shark Tank-style’ Q&A with an all-star panel of industry experts. Winners will garner exposure, bragging rights and $25,000 in cash.

“As far as LendingTree’s new Innovation Challenge, it’s our way to support innovators within the industry, giving lesser-known businesses and solutions a larger platform to showcase new capabilities and unveil emerging technology-enabled solutions that are pertinent to the industry.”

Lebda credits the insights they take home from LeadsCon, the connections forged and the impact they’re able to make through sponsorship as the reasons LendingTree comes back each year.

“It’s always exciting to reconnect with our colleagues and peers – it’s almost a reunion year after year, ” Lebda shares. He encourages anyone who would like to learn, grow and connect in the customer acquisition space to attend.
