I am excited to share with you that LeadsCon has officially sold out.

When I began preparations for the show, I told our lead sponsor LeadPoint that I felt the show would attract between 300 and 400 people. It seemed like a reasonable number for a first-time conference. At the same time, though, as I told Q interactive, our bag sponsor, and Double Positive, the laynard sponsor, to order 400 units of their respective items, I had a twinge of doubt (a pretty big twinge actually) that we might not need all of what they ordered.

By early February, if the show hit 250, I was going to be happy, let alone 300. I am excited to report though that thanks to your efforts and that of our high caliber speakers, LeadsCon registration has exceeded all expectations. When we shut off registration last week, we had 600 people registered!

Given the large swell in registrations, I wanted to both congratulate you on helping make this event one people couldn’t afford to miss and set expectations about the flow of people. While we have sold more tickets than the either the exhibit hall and conference hall can accommodate, I expect traffic to be somewhat light on Wednesday, our opening day. By lunch Thursday and especially as the expo hall opens at 5pm Thursday, we might find space at a premium.

I felt it was important to address this potential disparity in attendence between Wednesday and Thursday especially in light of our having to say no to additional pass requests from everyone, including Sponsors and Exhibitors. Our goal is not to cram as many people into a room as possible but to ensure the best experience possible so that you can achieve your business objectives.
