Can you hear that? It’s the clock ticking. LeadsCon Las Vegas 2015 is less than two months away and, well, it's going to be pretty awesome. In addition to all of the world-class exhibitors, useful workshops and, uh, all-you-can-eat lobster buffets, there are also a handful of creatively curated keynote speeches. One of the most anticipated of these keynotes will be delivered by Dale Vermillion, a thirty-year veteran of the mortgage industry and a highly sought after business consultant. Here’s his Twitter, in case you are into that sort of thing.
What will be on Vermillion’s agenda this year? Simply put, building platforms to ensure some top-notch lead conversion. You know, pretty much the whole reason we’ll all be in Las Vegas (besides the lobster). Vermillion will lead a discussion teaching you how to make the most of your marketing dollars but not at the expense of sales and service. It’s easy to max your budget on marketing, leaving other features of your business hanging out to dry. This is a fairly common mistake. Converting leads, as Vermillion will tell you, may be how you initially gain a customer, but then you have to keep them.
This kind of customer loyalty isn’t easy to come by, and it's easy to squander once you’ve got it. Vermillion will take you through the service and sales practices of several megasuccessful companies so you can see how they engender loyalty across a spectrum of business types. He’ll also teach you how to build a sales platform to rival the bigwigs, leading to big-time conversions. And, of course, he’ll lead you through some innovative ways to frame pitches so you don’t come off like every other marketer out there.
The practices you’ll gain throughout this keynote is more or less the same stuff Vermillion charges businesses consultation fees for, so it’s sort of like getting your cake and eating it too (if the cake didn’t cost thousands of dollars). He speaks on the first day of the convention, Wednesday, March 3. See you there!
