PX is all grown up. Lead generation company ReviMedia recently unleashed PX, its automated lead gen platform, as an independent entity. ReviMedia says the “innovative and powerful” software-as-a-service platform has processed more than 20 million leads since it debuted as LXP (lead exchange platform). "Our struggle with the lack of transparency in the lead-gen process drove us to build a platform that provides quality leads and a completely automated process,” says Bas Offers, co-founder and chief operating officer of New York City-based ReviMedia.
PX is the lead sponsor of LeadsCon Las Vegas 2016. The beta version of what now is known as PX came out in 2011. PX’s proprietary algorithms score and distribute real-time leads. Among the sectors that use the patent-pending software are insurance, home security and automotive.
“The more data we collect and analyze, the more accurate our prediction and scoring models will become,” Offers says. In 2015, ReviMedia bought the domain PX.com for more than $1 million as part of the rebranding of LXP. ReviMedia rolled out LXP to all online publishers at LeadsCon Las Vegas 2014.
Why a two-letter domain name like PX.com? “Owning a two-letter domain always has been a great wish and now actually owning PX.com gave a great sense of achievement,” Frans van Hulle, ReviMedia’s Co-Founder and CEO, tells domain-name investor and blogger James Iles. “From an investment point of view, it creates extra value for our company and being able to brand our platform to PX.com will boost our growth, mainly internationally. The trust factor of a two-letter domain is just invaluable.”
The evolution of PX has been a cornerstone of ReviMedia’s growth. The company, founded in 2010, was ranked No. 1,464 on the 2015 Inc. 5000. It posted 2014 revenue of $7.1 million, with a three-year growth rate of 282 percent. That growth rate also earned ReviMedia a place last year on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500, a ranking of fast-growing tech, media, telecom, life sciences and energy tech companies. ReviMedia appeared at No. 260 on Deloitte’s list.
Gaining spots on the Inc. 5000 and Deloitte rankings reflects ReviMedia’s “amazing ride,” van Hulle says. The showings on both lists reaffirm that ReviMedia “is offering highly viable business solutions and is filling a gap in the lead generation industry by offering a platform that improves transparency, accountability and trust,” van Hulle adds. “This achievement is a testament to our growth, which has been a team effort, and we are all immensely proud of it.”
